How to Give

We have recently sent out an e-mail asking for help with our finances. A number of people have contacted us asking how to do that. Sorry we forgot to put that important point in the e-mail! So here is how you can do it.

1. Go to:
www.canadahelps.org

2. The site will say "I want to donate to:" with a bar underneath to write. In the bar type "Canadian Centre for World Mission"

3. The search should come up with one result. If there are more options, re-type in the search bar exactly what I have written above.

4.  This page is a profile for what CCWM does as a whole. To make a contribution to us click "Donate Now"

5. At this page:
-Type the amount you're wanting to donate
-Select whether your donation is one-time or monthly
-Under Fund/Designation there is a drop arrow. It is extremely important that you select "Pue, Jeremy and Shari/Subiaco Church" or else the money will go to someone else!

6. From this point you should be able to follow the prompts.

Thank you everyone for your support!

Visitors coming and going

Jason, Kristin and Landon left today. We are really going to miss them. It was so nice to have them here with us. We wish it could have been much longer. Jeremy and I are now getting ready for my mom to arrive on Saturday. I can't wait to see her! She will be staying with us for 2 weeks and for 3 nights near the end of her stay she is taking me to Margaret River for a trip. Jeremy will be in New Zealand for five days for a conference with our senior pastor so he wont be coming with us. Jeremy and his brother Jason spent a couple nights in Margaret River while he was here and they loved it so I am really excited.

Wildlife Park

Today was the most fun day I have had in so long. Jason, Kristin, Landon, Jer and I went to Caversham Wildlife Park to see the animals. Their were all kinds of birds, kangaroos, wallabies, wambats, koalas and loads of other things too. At this park you can touch some of the animals. They have a kangaroo area that you can go in and they are pretty tame. You can also go touch some koalas as well and they are so soft. It was so cool. I loved it there. Landon seemed to like touching the kangaroos. After a few hours there we went to the chocolate factory and bought some delicious chocolate! So yummy! It was one of the best I have had in so long. I can't wait to go their again. Kristin and I also got to go see a movie while the guys watched Landon. What a great day!

They Are Here!

They are finally here. Jason, Kristin and Landon arrived a few days ago and it is soooo good to have them here. We haven't done too much yet except walk around Subi. Landon has been really sick and we had to take him to the hospital on Wednesday. He is fine, just has a viral infection. He is taking medicine now and dong better. Jason and Jeremy went down to Margaret River for a couple night and Kris and I are staying here with Landon. We are going shopping today because the weather isn't the best. I am so happy that they are here. I just wish they didn't have to leave next week. I will some photos soon.

Music

Jeremy played a show last night, his first how since we have been in Perth. It went really well. It was a secular concert that they designed to be an outreach event. Jeremy sounded amazing but unfortunately I didn't take many photos because the lighting was not very good and they just didn't turn out. I'm not sure how many people actually came, it was less then he is used to but I think pretty good for his first show here. Hopefully next time we can get the place packed and draw out more non believers!

Two More Days!

I am so excited! Three of my favorite people in the world are coming to visit us in two more days! Jason, Kristin and Landon (Jeremy's brother and his family) are coming to spend 8 days with us here in Perth and I can't wait to see them.

Thanks Han and Mez!

Well as I mentioned Yesterday our amazing friends Han and Mez gave us a great night out for our first anniversary. Now our anniversary isn't actually until next Sunday but we will have visitors with us then. So yesterday after Jeremy got back from work we went into Perth city and had an amazing dinner of mostly sea food (our favorite!) then we went to a hotel in the city for the night. It was so nice to get away from our apartment and have some time alone where we weren't running around trying to run errands, get ready for some event or clean the house. It was so relaxing. I didn't want to get out of the king sized bed (we normally sleep on a double so that felt huge) all morning. Thanks again Mez and Han!

Anniversary Date

So today we got a HUGE surprise from friends of our Meredith and Han. Our first wedding anniversary is next Sunday and we will have family with us then. I guess they also figured that we wouldn't be able to afford to do anything to celebrate (which is true). So today they gave us an envelope and in it was a gift card for dinner and a one nights stay at a hotel here in Perth! I couldn't believe it. What a blessing from two great friends. When they told us they had something planned for us today I thought we might all be going out to a movie or something. Thanks Han and Mez!

At Trigg Point

It's been a few weeks since I last updated. My cousin and here boyfriend have been her for a week visiting and we have been really busy. We have done so much. It's hard to believe that we only get a 5 day rest before the next visitors come. I will just give you a quick overview of what this last week has been like for us. We picked then up from the airport and of course they were the last ones to get out because they had brought things over that they weren't aloud to bring into Australia (microwave popcorn and protein powder). We started off the week with making a trip down to Freo to do some shopping then on friday we took them to the beach and went back to Freo at night to go to Little Creatures for dinner. On Saturday we walked around Subiaco and then went to the chocolate factory for desert. They came to church with us in the evening on Sunday (which was great because they aren't believers!). Monday they wanted to try out surfing so we took them back to the beach. Kelsey ended up getting a bloody nose from getting hit with the surf board but other then that they did pretty well. We went to Yanchep in the evening to look at the wildlife (kangaroos, koalas and birds). Yesterday they treated us to a trip the the aquarium which was really fun. Today is their last day here and I think we are just going to relax before they have to go home and get back to work. On tuesday Jason, Kristin and Landon will be coming for 8 days. I can hardly wait to see how much my nephew has grown in the last 4 months!

Cooking

Making dinner

I have finally got my act together and have started regularily cooking proper meals for dinner. A few weeks ago I decided that I would spend more time in the kitchen. I have started planning 3-4 meals a week. I pick out the recipes ahead of time and buy all the groceries for them on the weekend. I go to this market to buy all the fruit and vegetables and a few other things as well. It's only open on the weekends but it's so much cheaper. Some of my new favorite recipes are apple cheddar muffins, this amazing granola, a broccoli, cheese, chicken casserole and encheladas. Anyways I just thought I would share about what I have been doing. I have some homemade mac and cheese in the oven right now so I had better go get it!
