Just a few things

Here is another quick update on things that people have been wondering about.

1. Some of you have been wondering about the missions trip we were thinking of going on in October. Well, we though and prayed about it for a long time and have decided not to go. Without getting into to much detail, we just didn't feel right about going and Jer's main project for the year that he has been working on for a long time now got pushed back to the same time as the trip. So it just didn't work out. But we don't feel like we are missing out because we have had so many opportunities to see things since we have been here and we are sure that we will get another chance some day to go overseas for missions.

2. Some people have been asking about our funding. Well to be honest the support from home has slowed down so much that we have had to ask the church in Perth for help. They took a love offering for us this morning so hopefully we wont have to worry for a while. We are both confident that God wants us here for the rest of the year and that He will provided enough so that we can stay.

3.I know I said that I would put up a recording of Jer's new song soon but I'm not sure how soon it will be now. We tried recording it at 2 services and at both of them it turned out all crackly and gross so we don't yet have a decent recording. As soon as we do it will be up! He also has started teaching the band another song he wrote so hopefully they will start playing it at church soon.
I think that's all. If you have any questions about what we are doing here or about anything at all just let me know and I will make another update!

Melbourne

Melbourne in the city
Me and Glenna

Well it has been way to long since I have given an update but that's mostly because nothing much has happened. Well, nothing worth writing about anyways. I just got back from Melbourne last night. I was there for 3 nights with a group of 8 ladies from my church. We went to attened a children's ministry conference. The conference was over all pretty good. I learned some great things and left feeling refreshed and also challenged (in a good way). They had some great fun children's worship bands and some really good electives. We also got a bit of time to explore Melbourne. It's a fantastic city. Lots of old buildings and things to see. They have great shopping there as well. Even though I didn't get to buy anything it was still fun to look. I also went to the National Gallery of Victoria. It was so cool! It was free to see most of it and it had some really amazing things to check out. Lots of art and old artifacts and things that you normally find at a gallery/museum. I had a great time but it's nice to be back in Subi with Jer.
