So I know I have been terrible at giving current updates but I have an excuse. I just got back from a trip back home to Vancouver. I went over for my friend Hilary's wedding. It was so great to be back home I almost didn't want to come back! But Jeremy was still in Perth so of course I wanted to come back to be with him. I had such a great time seeing all my friends again. I missed them all so much! There is nothing better then spending time with really great friends, and it has been so long since I have seen any of them.

So I was a bridesmaid for my friend Hilary. She got married to a great guy named Phil. The wedding was so beautiful (and so was Hilary of course). The wedding was in her parents back yard and it really was amazing. The weekend before the wedding 3 of us took Hil up to Whistler for the weekend. We had a blast. The weather was perfect and Whistler in the summer is so amazing. It was my first time being a bridesmaid and it was so fun being so involved in her wedding. I also did all the hair which I love to do.

 I was back home for only 2 weeks but it was so refreshing. Seeing everyone really made me so happy but also made it harder to come back to Perth. While I was there my sister in law took me to the Brooke Fraser concert and it was awesome. I saw her at the Hilsongs conference but I hadn't seen her play any of her secular stuff before. 

I also got to see my brother in law Jon off to Ireland. He is going to Belfast Bible College this year. I am so excited for him! 

So my trip was great but it is also good to be back with Jer. I missed him so much and really wish that he could have come back with me. I know all of our friends wished he could have been there. But thank you to all our amazing friends who have made the effort to still be our friends while we have been away. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives and can't wait to be back home with you all!
